“…Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”  [Joshua 1:9]

The success I achieve in this life does not only happen because I’ve been doing a really good job at keeping at God’s feet. I achieve it because God doesn’t leave me. His presence is with me always. Wherever I am, He is there beside me. He has already been to the places I am going. He has already seen the blessings I am to receive. Not only does He always keep at my side, but He also carries me when I can’t go any further. That is how great His love for me is. I don’t have to be afraid of what is to come. I don’t have to be afraid of people. I don’t have to fear what people will say or do. I can be strong and courageous like the verse above says to be.

I have to realize that I’m not what others say I am. I’m not my past. I’m not my failures. My success doesn’t define me either. I’m not my friends or family. I don’t have to be afraid of what someone will think of me or what someone will say about me if I do something. My trust in God has to be strong. I have to be courageous in doing the deeds of God. I am who God says I am. I am loved by Love Himself. I am a new creation. I am forgiven. I am accepted. I am chosen. I am a masterpiece. I am a daughter of the Holy Father. I am worthy of all the love and affection in this world. My identity is found in God only. No man or object or act can tell me who I am. I will not allow for someone to belittle me because I serve a God who is greater than all. He lives in me and I am not as little as I am in stature.

Lord, I want to see myself through Your eyes. May nobody shake that perspective. I want to rely on Your love for me. I want to see the world through Your eyes. This world is in great need of Your love. They need to know that You love them just like You love me. They need to know they are not who the world says they are. They are who You say they are. They are just like me. Your love casts out all fear. I continue in this path because I trust You. I know this path will lead to only good. I see so many blessings being fulfilled. Trust and patience are virtues. You bless me every day. Thank You for Your love. You never forsake me. I want to spend as much time as I can with You. You are my priority. I hate that school is starting. I don’t want it to take my time away from You. I want to continue to give You the time You deserve. The more time I spend in Your Presence the more I become like You. I want to be just like You. When I feel discouraged or weak, when I feel lost, help me find my way to You. Remind me that in those times I feel like that, that is when You are most near to me. I’m not who I once was and I praise You for that. I praise You for the work You are doing in me. I want to glow with Your Light. I want to overflow with Your Love. I want my mind, heart, and attitude to be contagious. I want to spread Your goodness. Have Your way in me.
