Jezreel Publishing is a start-up publishing company founded in 2025 by Amy Lopez. Jezreel means “God plants.” The book is the soil, as a plant sprouts forth.

That is the goal of our publishing house.  As books are published, may God plant. May He plant ideas into us to sprout new books. May people grow in wisdom and knowledge. May people grow in their walk with the Lord.

Meet the Founder

It all started in elementary school. My mom would take us to the library whenever we could. Every time we went to Christian bookstores, I would buy as many devotionals I could. My English teachers would give us assignments and tell us to get creative. There, I began to write poems and stories, relating things to one another. I would keep diaries of all kinds. Journals for quotes, journals for prayers, journals for notes, journals for inspiration. Eventually, I started blogging, sharing my life to the world.
It seems writing and books were always ingrained into my inner being.
Slowly the Lord began to show me ideas and visions of books. So began the very first book in 2020. As I worked on that first book, I felt a nudge to start my own company. The rest is history and yet to be fathomed.
As I share my thoughts and inspirations as an author, my hope is to guide others closer to Jesus as we walk this life with Him.
