Heartwork; Day 18.

“But I have hope when I think of this: The Lord’s love never ends; his mercies never stop. They are new every morning; Lord, your loyalty is great.” [Lamentations 3:21-23]

“And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, ‘Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!’ So God granted him what he requested.” [1 Chronicles 4:10]

I survived my first two days of classes. I’m actually really excited for what I’m about to learn. I do know that my classes are going to have quite an impact on my growth as an inhabitant of Earth. Schoolwork is definitely going to take up a lot of my time. Yet, I can’t help but feel incredibly blessed. No matter how many times I fail God, He continues to give me another chance. He has the power to take my life while I sleep, but His mercies are new each morning. I’m going on 19 years of age and the fact that I am still alive right now is purely God’s Will. He is with me wherever I go. Even when I turned away, He was there waiting for me to go back to Him. He blessed me when I was far from Him. He blesses me indeed when I am near to Him. I want to always be near to Him because I want all the blessing He has for me. God wants to grant the desires of my heart. He wants me to have enough faith to ask Him. My faith grows more as I see Him grant my requests.

He wants me to have big requests. He wants me to believe big. He wants to do big things in my life. He is a big God. He wants to enlarge my territory. He wants me to spread His love near and far. He wants to expand the streets I occupy. I can start off small, but He’s “Go big or go home” kind of God.. in a way. He loves us and still accepts us if we have small dreams. He wants to enlarge them. It’s His Will. He saved us to have a big influence on the people that we come in contact with wherever we are.

People really need to see the love of God. God really wants to use His children to help bring more of His children back home. We have to give what we receive. Even when there’s nothing left to give, keep giving. God will reward those who are doing His Will, again by blessing us indeed. He wants to grant our requests. We must be and do like Him in return. That is our act of obedience. We must be compassionate and caring for those in need. We must go forth wherever God calls us to show His love, and we will surely be rewarded.

Lord, You have so much love in You. I am amazed that You want to please me. I want to please You. You are worthy of all my praise. Worthy of all my adoration and devotion. Lord, You have blessed me with so much. I wouldn’t be in school if it weren’t for You. I wouldn’t be writing these words if You would have never blessed me with them. You blessed me with great friends and family. You blessed me with a car. You bless me with the fruit of the Spirit. Thank You for never abandoning me. You have always been by my side even when I left Yours. Lord, use these hands to do Your Work. I see a needy world. May I grow to be more like You. Even though I didn’t create a lot of messes in this world, I want You to use me to fix them. Expand my streets. I want to go where You go. I will occupy Jezreel. Wherever You plant me, I will bloom. Prune where You must to have my source of Light and water be only You. You are the One who keeps me alive. It’s because of Your mercy and love why I am alive today. You have given me plenty of gifts to use for Your Kingdom. I believe You have used me, You are using me, and You will use me for big things. I may be small, but I serve an huge God. I put my trust in You. You are faithful, and I want to be that in return. This relationship we have, it takes two. I’m learning to do my part. Thank You for everything. Thank You for being who You are. I love You.
